Japanese-style fried carrots

Based off a recipe for "kinpara gobo" (fried burdock)

  1. Julienne a couple of carrots
  2. Fry in oil until cooked through
  3. Add a splash of soy sauce and mirin
  4. Fry until dry and lightly browned
  5. Add a little sesame oil, frying off the excess if necessary
  6. Optionally add sesame seeds
